Description:
Trial by Trolley is a party game where one player acts as the judge (the trolley conductor) and must decide which of two tracks a runaway trolley will destroy, while the rest of the players are split into teams trying to persuade the judge to spare their side. Each round, players build out their tracks using “angelic” cards to make their side more appealing, while opponents add “demonic” cards to sabotage the other track. Players can also use modifiers to strengthen their own arguments or worsen their opponents’ situation. After hearing all arguments, the judge chooses which track to sacrifice, and the team whose track survives wins the round. The game continues for several rounds, with players rotating roles.
