Wyrmspan board game is a dragon-themed engine-building board game inspired by Wingspan. Players take on the role of amateur dracologists, excavating caves within their sanctuary and attracting dragons to inhabit them. As dragons are added to the Crimson Cavern, Golden Grotto, and Amethyst Abyss, players create powerful combinations of abilities, expand their sanctuary, and earn favor with the Dragon Guild. While it shares core engine-building concepts with Wingspan, Wyrmspan introduces numerous unique mechanics and systems that make it a distinct standalone experience focused on dragons, exploration, and strategic combo-building.
