Great game for friends game night! We’ve lost every game so far and can’t wait to try again. Pandemic system and mechanics, with tweaks, works well with the LOTR story and characters. Dynamic goals allow for various methods of play when randomized and the dice use for enemies is simple but still makes it suspenseful enough to think your effort can make you survive another round. Strategy, tactics, nostalgia for LOTR, and a cooperative goal that seems as difficult as it is just in reach.
