Description:
In Speculation, players trade stocks to gain the most wealth. Each starts with nine cards (eight company cards, one Bank Holiday) and one random share. Companies have 2-5 shares based on player count. Six movement tiles (1-6) and six action tiles (trade x3, rank +1, rank -1, no action) are split into two bags.
Each round, the starting player draws one tile from each bag. Rank +1/-1 shifts a chosen brick up/down one spot on the movement track. Trade lets each player buy/sell one share. Players pick and reveal one of two cards. If no Bank Holiday is played, bricks for played company cards move per the movement tile, skipping occupied spaces. Share value depends on brick position. Bank Holiday cards halve or stop movement.
Players draw a card, bags pass clockwise, and tiles reset if trade was drawn. Rounds continue until a brick reaches the track’s end. Players cash out, and the richest wins.
