Description:

In Moytura board game, two players lead rival factions of the Tuatha Dé Danann in a struggle for control of ancient Ireland while also contending with a dangerous non-player enemy faction made up of three competing clans. Players take turns selecting deity tiles to activate powerful abilities, spread influence, and battle enemies, while the enemy clans expand through automated activation cards that force players to constantly adapt their strategy. Victory comes from balancing direct competition with careful management of the growing threats across the map, with variable clan combinations, upgradeable deity powers, and solo or cooperative play adding plenty of replayability.

A two player battle where you don't actually go after each other. Directly at least

This game has proved to be very unique and very fun. While I'm not always a fan of area control conflict games (they sometimes have a little too much "take that"in them), this one breaks the mold and adds in an NPC team that you have to keep at bay or let them win. It's a fine and fun balance of deciding whether you can leave the NPCs to your opponent or having to handle them yourself. Other than that, there's no direct conflict between each other. Great game!
